Degrees Celsius to Degrees Fahrenheit
1 °C is 33.8 °F. Type any amount below and the answer follows as you type, on your device.
The answer follows what you type, rounded to six significant figures. Nothing is sent anywhere.
The formula
°F = °C × 1.8 + 32
Multiply the degree Celsius figure by 1.8, then add 32.
The added number is there because the two scales do not start at the same place. That is why this conversion cannot be done with a single multiplication.

When you need this
Weather forecasts in the United States and much of the Caribbean are given in Fahrenheit, so this is the conversion to reach for when a foreign forecast or an American recipe has to become a number you recognise.
The factor above is the exact legal definition of each unit, not a rounded one, so the answers stay right at any size. Nothing here is sent to a server: the conversion runs in the page.
